Below are some of the upcoming music courses I will be running this year. Please use the contact form to request further information, or to book onto one.
Monday 26th October 2026 10.30 - 12.30 am:
Half Term GCSE music revision session.
This two hour GCSE revision session will look at theory, listening and appraising. The session will begin with a revision of theory and musical literacy ensuring that students are well versed in the meaning of many musical terms and how to accurately understand a score. The second half of the session will look at listening and appraising. Students will work on the first piece in pairs, then individually. They will be able to describe and appraise a piece of music (not necessarily their set work) and write about it using musical language. Time will also be spent looking at exam questions and understanding what they are being asked to do.

Monday 5th April 2026 10.30 - 12.30 am:
Easter GCSE music revision session.

Monday evenings 6 - 7
Group Theory Classes from Zero to Five
These run throughout the term time (ten weeks) and neeed a minimum of two students to run. They run on a rolling basis and cost £30 per session as a drop in or £250 for the course of ten.
These small, customised group classes will take place at my studio and are suitable for anyone looking to learn more about the theory of music past the basics to help them with their practical playing or even their GCSEs.
Most students will be around Grade 4 practical standard and have a basic grasp of theory. It is also suitable for students who might be contemplating GCSE music at a later point.

Two shorter 1.5 hour sessions for beginners and those wanting to ask questions about their musical learning journey. Cost £15 per session.
