FAQ:

Where do you teach?

Currently from my studio just outside Banbury, however, I am able to offer online tuition.

What hours do you work?

I am still working during the day, so I teach evenings and one afternoon a week at present.

Do you teach adults?

Yes, of course. Having recently taken up the cello again, I feel I am really well equipped to understand the needs of adult learners and really encourage you to take the plunge.

Are you DBS checked?

Yes, fully. I am also up to date on safeguarding training and am insured with the ISM.

How much do you charge?

If you drop me a line I can let you know prices, however, I will say that they are in line with both the ISM and MUs recommendations for private teaching. I ask for termly payment, but can sometimes do plans if there is anything that might be preventing you or your child’s learning.

My child just needs a bit of support with their theory/GCSE exam

Do you accompany students in exams?

Sometimes, yes. I am happy to accompany up to about grade 6, after that I have contacts that I use who are professional accompanists.
